Fees To Tenants

A holding deposit equivalent to 1 weeks rent will be required to secure a property, subject to referencing (this deposit is non-refundable if the tenant withdraws or fails the referencing process).

Tenant referencing fees:

£150.00 Inc. VAT per tenant

£75.00 Inc. VAT per guarantor

Our referencing is carried out by a separate company The Letting Partnership on our behalf. Subject to satisfactory referencing and the landlord’s agreement we will prepare the necessary contracts and notices.

Payment of referencing fees, one month’s rent in advance and the equivalent of 6 weeks rent which will be held as a security deposit (Less the 1 week holding deposit if already paid). Will be required prior to signing the agreement.

In certain circumstances where we are working with another agent or professional landlord these fees and the amount of deposit may be varied. We will endeavour to advise any prospective tenants at the earliest practical time should this situation arise.

In the case of a tenant wishing to leave a shared tenancy and on finding a suitable replacement, subject to the landlord’s agreement and satisfactory referencing a charge of £150.00 Inc. VAT will be charged to cover referencing, preparation of agreement and re-lodging of the security deposit.
